A quick & simple recipe for Breakfast Oats
If you’re looking for a good Raw Food breakfast, try these Breakfast Oats:
- 1 cup Oat Groats
- 4 Majoole Dates
- 2 teaspoons Coconut Oil
- 1 Pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg
- Filtered water
- Soak oat groats over night in 2 cups of filtered water.
- Rinse and drain the grains and put in high speed blender along with enough water to cover the top of the grains. Add the dates, coconut oil and cinnamon or nutmeg and blend until smooth or desired texture. (I like a little texture to my cereal)
Then you can get creative: add cut fruit, berries, raisins, dried coconut or your favorite soaked and dried nuts. Top it all off with delicious almond milk.
